Five Signs Your Car AC Needs To Be Serviced
- Your car air conditioning blows only slightly cooler than the outside air.
- Your car's air conditioner blows air that smells like mildew and mold.
- Your A/C only works while driving.
- You have low airflow even at the highest fan setting.
- Water condensing or dripping on your foot while driving.
Don't wait! If your car's A/C is working at reduced efficiency, it's worth a visit to Trend Auto. Taking care of regular maintenance now can help you avoid more expensive AC repair costs down the road. Sometimes fixing a broken air conditioner is as simple and cost effective as adding new coolant.
Most truck and car air conditioning systems break eventually with usage. Hoses that feed the AC unit may crack, clog or drip if not serviced. Let us service your car or truck and keep your cooling system performing at its peak. Call us at 623-931-8889 to learn more about how we can get your air conditioning running again!

Repair Your Car's AC Compressor
Let Trend Auto Repair Your Car's AC Compressor
The cool air in your car is produced primarily by the compressor. The four main functions that your vehicle's compressor carries out include pressurizing the refrigerant to cool cabin air, monitoring and controlling temperature output, sensing temperature changes inside and outside the vehicle, and moving air to your car's AC condenser.

Your vehicle's A/C condenser is usually located in the front of the radiator. When your AC compressor is pressurizing the refrigerant flows to the condenser to reduce the temperature and pressure. Freon Recharging Questions and Answers
Q: How often should Freon be changed?
A: Never, at least not in the way you think of your oil being changed. Your car's AC system is a sealed unit. No new freon needs to be added unless there's a refrigerant leak. Over time as your vehicle ages small cracks may form in your AC system parts such as the compressor, condenser, evaporator, receiver-dryer, expansion tube and connecting hoses allowing freon to escape. If this occurs, you need to replace the failing part and have your freon recharged.Q: How long should a Freon recharge last?
A: If your car's AC system was recently repaired and required a freon recharge it should not need to be replaced again. Your AC system is a closed or sealed system that does not allow freon to escape. Freon is not like gasoline; it does not get depleted. If freon is escaping after your car's AC system has been repaired, then additional work may need to be done to find the leak.Over the weekend the a/c in my car completely went out. Called before 8am on Monday was told I could bring the vehicle in within 30 and was quoted a price based off what we advised was wrong with the vehicle. Had my vehicle back same day and the quote was not too far off final price. Service was fast and friendly, got my vehicle back same day too! Thank you Robert who took our call before 8 and Tony who helped get me checked in. Happy with everything.

what our customers say
I love taking my car to Trend Auto they inspect my car whenever I take it in there to make sure everything is running right even if I just need an oil change and filter, Robert is awesome as is Tony and all the technicians. Prices are great a lot cheaper than taking them to the dealership. Well so they are very honest and very easy to deal with. Best place to go when you have a problem with your vehicle.
I want to deeply thank this auto location for taking the time for figuring out my car that I've had a issue with these past couple months the last auto place told me misinformation that caused me to lose $180 for a repair not needed within minutes this location figured out my problem with a simple milewise plug in causing my car to have misfires and hesitating after they unplugged it my car is back to driving like it should and my oil change was done within minutes I absolutely will be coming back for my car needs. T H A N K Y O U !!!!!!!
I came here a few months ago because the belt in my truck shredded. They replaced it, but the Owner noticed I was still under powertrain warranty and went to bat for me with my dealership when they said the issue would not be covered. I had an oil leak in my truck this time and since I was due for an oil change anyway, I went in. Again, owner pointed out that I was still under warranty and if it's a big issue dealer would cover it. They did my oil change and my filter was just loose. They didn't try to oversell me on anything. They got me in and out. I truly feel they actually care about their customers and don't just try to get them to spend the most money they can. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. As a woman, I feel very comfortable going in and know that I will not be taken advantage of. Also, the oil change price was great, better than most places around here. Definitely check them out.
